Delete Your Tenspect Account

At Tenspect, we respect your right to data privacy and control over your personal information. This page outlines the process to request the deletion of your account and associated data.

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
  2. In the body of the email, please include:
  • Your username or the email address associated with your Tenspect account
  • Your company name (if applicable)
  • A statement confirming your request to delete your account and associated data

What Happens Next

  1. We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate.
  2. Once verified, we will process your request within 30 days.
  3. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.

Data Deletion Specifics

When you request account deletion, we will remove:

  • Your personal profile information
  • Your account credentials
  • Your inspection history and reports
  • Client information you've added to the system
  • Templates and customizations you've created
  • All stored images and documentation
  • Payment information associated with the account

Please note:

  • Certain data may be retained for legal or operational purposes, such as transaction records, for a period as required by applicable laws.
  • Data that has been anonymized or aggregated may be retained for analytical purposes.
  • Inspection reports that have been officially filed or shared with clients will remain accessible to those clients but will no longer be associated with your account.
  • If you're part of a team account, your personal information will be removed while maintaining the integrity of inspection records for your organization.

Retention Period

  • Most personal data will be deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Financial records and completed inspection reports may be kept for up to 7 years as required by home inspection regulations and financial compliance.
  • Backup copies of your data may remain in our system for up to 60 days after deletion.
